REQUIREMENTS /QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years of current journeyman-level Electrician in an industrial environment 3+ years of experience working in a heavy industrial maintenance environment Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the following: Principals of Electrical Theory Electrical Equipment used in industrial processes Professional work ethic with ability to work in a team environment or independently Install, repair and maintain electrical systems, apparatus, electric and electrial components of industry machinery, and equipment to electrical code According to Manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints & other specifications Perform preventative maintenance for lighting, power distribution equipment (breakers, switches, disconnects, etc), lifting stations, cameras, and other instrumentation Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment (cameras, conveyors & programmable controllers) according to electrical code & applicable blueprints. Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus including transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures using test equipment Replace damage or broken wires and cables using hand tools Diagnose and repair or replace faulty electronic components including relays, switches, motors, and position sensing devices. Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
